Casa Olalé San Agustinillo has a sustainable design, with several attributes that reduce the impact on the Planet.
San Agustinillo with its desire to lower its environmental impact has a system of selection of your garbage: organic, inorganic (PET, cans, glass, etc ...) as we separate at home, such garbage to improve their recycling.
Water is a very valuable resource for the town, it does not have the infrastructure of a big city, since we value the conscious use of this benefit for the community. Within the sustainable design of the house, rainwater is captured for reuse.
The house has a biodigester for wastewater treatment, so toilet paper, sanitary napkins have to be disposed of in the trash cans, otherwise the installation and the biodigester will be clogged and a plumbing service will be needed at a cost to the guest. Thank you for your understanding and for your help in doing your bit for us.
Casa Olalé San Agustinillo was built in 2021 by a local builder with local workers and materials. The cement is low carbon to reduce the environmental footprint.
This desire to incorporate ourselves and be part of the place is a deep-rooted desire in us, that the house is integrated in the best possible way in the forest and that we support the community in the best possible way.
